A recording of this year’s commissioned Christmas carol will be available on Apple Music/iTunes from 4pm GMT on Christmas Eve, 24 December. British composer Michael Berkeley CBE has set to music the traditional 15th century Christmas text This Endernight. The piece will receive its first public performance at A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Christmas Eve.
The composer will be making an address at a service in King’s College Chapel in January; more details will be made available nearer the time.
