Former Organ Scholar Parker Ramsay has published an article in the New York Times on Bach’s Goldberg Variations, ahead of the release of his recording on the King’s record label.
In Is Bach Better on Harp?, the King’s alumnus presents some of the questions and challenges that arose while working with the Goldbergs and arranging them for harp. The article uses musical examples alongside Parker’s writing, including excerpts from the forthcoming recording.
The recording is released on 18 September will be available to stream, download and buy in CD format.
