Music and readings for Holy Week and Easter from the Chapel of King’s College, Cambridge. The Choir of King’s College, Cambridge, directed by Stephen Cleobury, sings some of the best-loved choral music for the season, including Were You There? (arr. Bob Chilcott), Greater Love (John Ireland), Wash Me Throughly (S.S Wesley), Worthy is the Lamb and Amen (G.F. Handel from Messiah) and This Joyful Eastertide (arr Charles Wood). The story of Jesus’s death and resurrection is taken from the Gospel of John and told in the well-loved words of the King James Bible by members of King’s College. Easter hymns include My Song Is Love Unknown and Ye Choirs Of New Jerusalem.
